Bunnies in the park???

So I read somewhere that there were bunnies in the Aldrich park but when I visited last week I didnt see any!! Do they hide in their burrows during daytime or what? Are they tame? Are there rules against feeding, petting, or catching them?

Not that I plan to, just wondering... cuz I love bunnies :P

Bunnies in the park, and around MC as well (don’t know about ME). Mostly sighted in the early morning or toward dusk… generally shy… best to live and let live.

Saw a bunch around UCSD as well, which surprised me… I would have thought that area was too dry for cottontails.

Hmm interesting… I shall schedule my jogging around those times xD Thanks 4 the info!

one day next year imma just be jogging myself and see some crazy person chasing after bunnies… i hope its not you  LOL!!!

They come out at night at Aldrich Park, Ring Road, Mesa Court, Middle Earth, and Campus Village. Where I live, there’s a small green patch and everytime I go outside at 6 A.M, there’s at least always one rabbit there. I think there’s a bit too much of them actually.

Well, there won’t be after all the joggers start chasing them. ;-)

There’s a website that rates campuses for their squirrel population (http://gottshall.com/squirrels/campsq.htm</a>)… I don’t know if there’s one for bunnies.

There is bunnies everywhere in middle earth…see them all the time.

Wow thats great! Oh man this is gonna be just like the teletubby land :D

That website says theres not many squirrels at UCI… which is a good thing because they are kind of scary and rabid looking. Bunnies are much better! I’m very excited now

i probably see more squirrels than bunnies (i live in ME). we’re told to not chase any of the animals though, haha.
