How tough is it to get into this school? I heard it is really competitive and maybe the hardest to get into of all the colleges because it is so selective.

I just got in there for Human Phys (pre-med). I had a 3.9 Weighted GPA, 32 ACT, and some good extra currics, 100-150 volunteer hours, and a month of shadowing an orthopedic surgeon.

Best friend, who planned on going through college together with, had a 3.75, 29 ACT, and not so many ECs, got waitlisted and rejected

All colleges have the same undergraduate admissions requirements/standards. You are accepted to Boston University at large, whereas Sargent College individually has no say in undergraduate admissions. Very few programs like the seven-year med. program have different admissions criteria. Some schools are larger than others and enrollment is a factor considered by admissions so smaller schools may tend to appear to have more difficult admissions.
