Im basically interested in these 4 majors the engineering i would chose would be industrial or computer, which of these majors is the most marketable/profitable?

Unless you’re at Penn or NYU I’d say engineering is the most marketable and profitable. At Penn or NYU (Wharton and Stern) Business/finance might be the most marketable. At schools like Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth, and Brown econ might be most profitable. At a state school engineering would be best. Thats really for job prospects right after undergrad.

is purdue a good university to study at for engineering?

yes purdue is a good engineering school. Look online for top engineering shcools

I would recommend looking into a joint Business and Engineering Program. They are becoming very popular and you are very marketable coming out of college. Check out Drexel’s B&E program: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/drexel-university/680451-drexels-business-engineering-major-unique-prestigious.html

just major in whatever you enjoy the most, get involved at your school, get good grades, and network. Jeez, what is up with people here thinking there is a magic major that will get you what you want.
