Hey guys,
I'm a current 1st year Business Economics major at UC Irvine.
I am planning on switching majors asap but was wondering what would be more appealing to Business Schools. A Business Administration Major with a Political Science Minor vs. a Political Science Major with a Business Administration Minor.
I am very clueless when it comes to entrance into Business Schools so any advice will be appreciated. Thank you

Doesn’t really matter. Do what interests you the most and focus on getting and maintaing a good GPA.

Business schools care very little about your undergraduate degree subject.

They put most weight on your work experience and that you showed progress as a leader, usually for 2-3 years before applying to Business Schools, and what your future goals are.

GPA and GMAT, as long as you are in the middle 80% of the accepted students then its not a big factor.

The jobs you can get right out of undergrad differ greatly between a business admin and political science so keep that in mind. The job and the progress you make in that job first 2-3 years out of undergrad matter most.

Best of luck.

Wait a minute, OP, didnt you post the exact same thread in the Law forum, stating that you want to go to law school ?

Seriously OP, you need to realize what you want to do with your life.In my opinion, you just want to get the big bucks, no matter how.
