Please help me,outweighing the pros and cons.I am seeking to transfer to obtain my BA.Should I go to usc for undergrad,or wait for grad? I am the first of my family to go to college here in the States.I thought of usc because its close and because I feel it will help me make the connections i so desperately desire. However,I am intrigued by CPP’s hands on learning as well. Please help me,The good, bad, the ugly, anything is appreciated.
USC is best. CPP is good for engineering and I that’s where it applies more.
Apply to all of them an see what happens. You can make your decision after you’ve been accepted.
Can you afford USC?
Cal Poly Pomona is good for business even though it has a good reputation for engineering. Go to USC is you can afford it.
Another alternative is UCLA’s business economics. Because UCLA does not have an undergraduate business school, many UCLA students go into business economics, which has an excellent reputation. If you want to stay in the So. Cal area, both UC Irvine and UC Riverside also have good undergraduate business schools.
If you don’t mind moving up to No. Cal, UC Berkeley has the Haas Business School (which is very difficult to transfer to, say 3.8+GPA from cc) or UC Davis has an excellent business/management economics department. UC Santa Cruz’s management economics is also good.
