I've searched for months and can't seem to find one.

bumpppppppppp

not to be a dick but a high school internship just made me laugh. you gotta be lucky and have it handed to you in high school or know some professionals real well

well a career-enhancing part-time occupation. like with the state department or the department of the treasury.

Unfortunately, if you’re in high school the only way you will get an internship in the DC area is if you/your parents have excellent connections. Most companies generally look for, at the very least, undergrad university students, because they will be more committed, grown up, and more sure about their future options. They generally don’t take high schoolers no matter how committed they are.

I know that the State Department has some high school programs. I’ll check into like the IRS.

enjoy your time in high school. You can start getting serious in a few years. If you want to try and be ahead of the curve, start looking for internships in your Sophmore year instead of Junior and Senior, that is now becoming the norm.
