business information management major

I'm undecided/undeclared right now but I recently gained interest in business information management major. I never took computer science or informatics or anything... but I was always interested in business and management :]

Can anyone tell me how you like pursuing your degree with this major? What are the difficulty of the courses and how are they like? What possible careers can you pursue with this major?

Thank you.

If you haven’t already, consult the business school website for info on their programs.

I do know that it is a competitive major, and it does involve computer science and etc., in contrast with the business admin major, which has no computer science in it.

A great major if you’re interested in the IT and business areas of focus…

as for Business and management in itself, the business administration major would probably match your needs “better”. Or if you cannot get into neither, minoring in Management is not too bad of an idea either.

Well, I’m interested in computer science component too, but it’s just… I never took a class for it so I don’t really know if I will like it or if I’m any good at it. I guess I should just take a class next quarter to find out. (I’m a freshman btw)
Thanks for the response. And yes, I have already looked at the website. But I was really interested in hearing from a student point of view :)
