Business + International Relations (Specifically East Asia Studies)?

I am still in process of determining what I want to major/minor in college. I definitely feel passionate about International Relations but I'm worried that it will not open enough career opportunities for me. My immediate thought was to also major/minor in business.

Is this combination beneficial? Or is there other majors/minors I can pair with International Relations?

Are you open to International Business? It would be a great combination of Business and International Relations. Most colleges will give you an opportunity to pair it with another business major such as accounting, finance, etc which will give you more marketability. A minor in a language, or 4 years of a language are often required as well.
Other than that you could double major with IR and Supply Chain Management, or IR and Economics as well. The only business major that seems like a bad fit to me is Accounting, that’s because accounting in the U.S follows different standards than the majority of the world. (You could still make that work for you, if you found a college that had good international accounting courses)
