business major or bust?

im a usc freshman and i'm thinking of becoming an international relations major. this major has a "global business" option where you can take about 6 courses in the marshall school of business. i was thinking about doing this and taking the marketing concentration. however, i'm wondering how helpful this will be in getting a job in marketing, because it's so few courses. is it a joke compared to an actual business major? i'm not necessarily trying to be very rich or work for a really big company... it would just be cool to be employed in something other than retail or fast food, and marketing seems interesting to me... and i'd just go for a business major, but i wanna learn about things besides business, like international relations.... but...do you think it's worth it?
