I have a question for anyone that is a business major is familiar with the process. My question is if taking Calculus in high school is necessary in being accepted to top ranked programs. My choice currently is Lehigh. I would like to know whether or not I should move up into the honors level in math before it is too late.
It is not usually necessary but it is helpful. Generally a semester of calc is required for business school. You can check the requirements online of schools you are interested in. The problem is if you don’t take calc in HS you will likely be in a college calc class filled with people who have had the material in HS making it hard for your to keep up (this happened to my S and it was very difficult).
After much deliberation, I’ve decided that I will get on the calculus track. I may suffer a little in the beginning, but hopefully it will benefit me in the long run.
