I know the international business program is really good and ranked nationally but what about other business majors like marketing?

Bloomberg Businessweek ranked Moore School of Business 87th in 2013 and 101st in 2012. Marketing is ranked 82nd for 2013.

Is the whole GSCOM thing unique to USC? I’ve heard its good, but haven’t been able to make any comparisons.

so would you say going to USC for marketing would be okay? I mean, okay here’s my dilema. I’m choosing my list of schools and i’m considering applying to either USC columbia or UMD as safeties (financially, both cheap, instate for maryland). I know maryland might be the better school but over 70% of my school goes to UMD and I really want to get out of maryland. Just trying to decide which one to discard…

is there any reason your opposed to doing IB? You could double major in IB + Marketing easily

not opposed to it but im actually interested in the creative part of marketing but i didnt want to just study say, advertisement because it’s so specific. I rather study something more broad like marketing. I would do business administration or international business if they didnt have marketing, but that’s not the case. I could double major I just hadn’t thought about it.

^I’m pretty sure that International Business requires you to double major in another business field.

Anyways, IB is a great program, so if you’re interested in business, I don’t see how it could hurt, even if you’re not planning on taking the international route.

^ Yes. IB requires you to have a second business major in addition to international business.
