Business Management and Game Design Schools

I have my career goal as of now...as a game producer. I was already advised by someone already in the industry to get a business management degree, but I would also like to have a minor in Game Design....since I should be familiar with the industry before entering.

Note: I am not the perfect student, I mean I do my work and such by I am far from Yale material.

3.3-3.4GPA
Haven't taking SAT yet...will this year predicting maybe a 1500-1800 range.
Pennsylvania Resident
APs
AP US History: 4/5!!
AP Human Geography: This year
AP Computer Science: This year
"Senior Year I hope to take"
AP Environmental Science
AP Gov and Politics
AP European History

Location: I would like to be on the East Coast....northeast to mid-atlantic area.

Extracurricular....pretty much none other than making Youtube videos and modding video games "as in making my own version within the code and such". I am not the sports type and my school has horrible extracurricular, I wanted to make my own but all I got was a big NO from the school. Most likely will join something stupid like the S.A.D.D club or something....just to get some more....but the entire extracurricular thing is a joke.

Why not major in computer science and use technical and free electives on subjects like computer graphics, artificial intelligence, art, animation, etc.?

If you go to any game company’s “jobs and careers” section, you’ll find a lot more jobs looking for those with computer science degrees or equivalent self-education, compared to jobs looking for those with game design degrees. And someone with a computer science degree can seek other computer jobs, if the jobs and companies in gaming are not available or desirable at any given time.

Perhaps you can include web links to your videos and stuff in your application on the off chance that someone might look at them (though that should not be expected of admissions officers going through tens of thousands of applications).

You might check out the interactive multimedia major at TCNJ.

Well I already talked to someone from a local game studio “BreakAway Games”, they said since I am trying to go for the producer side, I should get a Business Management. Even though I will obviously have to use computers and such, most the time apparently the producer just keeps the project on track.
