McIntire named #1 undergrad business school by BusinessWeek.

whooooa… mcintire AND mendoza beat wharton? oh snap. wharton moved to #3 for best undergrad business

[Business School Rankings and Profiles: EMBA, Executive Education, MBA, Part-time MBA, Distance MBA](<a href=“Bloomberg Businessweek - Bloomberg”>Bloomberg Businessweek - Bloomberg)

While I think it’s an accomplishment, I wouldn’t read into the rankings too much though. McIntire professors are against non-McIntire students, preventing them from class enrollment so that class sizes are kept small and thus restricted only to McIntire students. They are doing this to take the #1 spot in Businessweek’s rankings, which is kind of sad.

McIntire jumped because of the Wharton’s job placement dropped due to the economic crisis. I think in general Wharton is still considered the top undergrad b-school.

The ranking is hard to believe!

Are you talking about letting students participate from other schools at UVA, e.g. SEAS, College, etc.?

Would Wharton have a similar thing?

Wow, that is crazy…

I went to Mendoza at Notre Dame and, while it awesome to beat out Wharton, I really am a bit skeptical. McIntire and Mendoza are great but, if I were an employer, I’d still be beating down the door of all Wharton graduates no matter what.

But hey whatever…we’ll take the ranking!
