I wanted to know if tattoos on students majoring in business truly affects them when they're outta school, specifically those with concentrations in finance and accounting.

I've heard people say it will and won't affect a person getting a job, but I wanted to know if anyone who's been in either field for a period of time could give their two sense, for example, a definite answer of what their company would do.

I don’t know if any of my coworkers have had tattoos because as a general rule, nobody came to work in a tanktop and shorts.

I’m assuming you don’t have face/neck/wrist tattoos? If you do then… haha. Otherwise you’re fine.

I have a tattoo on my left forearm and I am currently interning for upper management at Fortune 100 firm. Successfully secured multiple jobs and even had the luck to turn down a couple.

Has nothing to do with it. 75% attitude 20% experience 5% enthusiasm. (:

Just don’t get a tattoo where people can see it if you’re wearing a suit. Please. Idk what possesses people to do that.

What is two sense?

You knew what I meant dude.

If it’s in a place that will be visible when interviewing the vast majority of employers will ding you based off of that alone. If not, then you have nothing to worry about. How would they even know?

Now it seems like a simple question. But all I ever do is hear people’s parents, including my family members, telling me that tattoos don’t look good for when you go to an interview and that it hurts your chances. I definitely plan on getting one on my forearm. But I just wanted other people’s inputs, thanks guys.

If it’s on your forearm, it shouldn’t be visible during an interview. It shouldn’t be a problem then.
