Okay, so this might be a bitter response to the rejection e-mail, but honestly...

"I only wish we had room for everyone with qualities and accomplishments like yours." <--- What do you mean no room?! I would totally offer to live in the library, or even on the tennis courts!!! :P

Hahahha, just some comic relief. Mais c'est la vie, n'est pas? Oh well...

c'mon now.
do you really want to live in a tent on the stanford campus now that the admissions committee has seemingly overlooked everything that's so great about you!? ;)

That's very true. Like I said in another thread... I'll make sure Stanford's watching when I accept my Nobel Prize and accredit it all to whichever awesome university I end up at. :)

Also, now that I'm applying to more colleges (as much as these extra essays will suck), it just means more "vacations" for me! My mom promised that we'll visit wherever I get accepted to... I hope I get accepted to them all! Haha...

luckystars! my mom promised me that, too.
but she probably just feels bad for me and'll change my mind about visiting east coast schools once uc decisions come out.

whatevvvs. let's move on. stanford's not the right fit for us anyways.

Haha... Well, I'm from Wisconsin and did not apply to any UW schools (my only "backup" is Minnesota-Twin Cities, which I got admitted to today!), so at least a road trip is inevitable! I applied to USC though, so hopefully I'll end up out in California anyways...

Best of luck to you, musicgal3! I'm actually starting to get excited for next couple of months... We're just too awesome, and nothing Stanford says will change that ;)

Yeah, the no rejection mail thing is pretty BS, I thought.

If you really wanted to save trees, Stanford, then maybe you should stop sending out 70 page viewbooks to like 50,000 students every year to raise their hopes and then crush them.

LOL to luckystars and Pro28. Luckystars, I hope you get that Nobel Prize!!!

And Stanford's logo is a tree? Well, it's nice that it is being eco-friendly (haha, yeah right), but the viewbooks do raise up hopes... and they can't send us one measly letter.
