Buying books help...

Hey everyone, I know this is super short notice as our incoming class will be arriving on campus in less than two days, but I'm a bit nervous about buying books on campus. I didn't have the opportunity to go to any summer/pre-orientation programs so I'll be picking my classes this coming weekend. Any advice on buying books at the Campus Store?

Thanks!

My advice is: don’t use the campus store. The books there are way overpriced and can be bought for far less on amazon. Also, using your .edu email address, you can get free 2 day shipping.

Just repeating Ryan’s good advice.

Amazon is always the first place I look for cheap books. Also, for freshmen/intro classes, Lock & Chain often has what you need for cheap…

Also, international editions on eBay are cheap. You can’t sell them back, but the loss on each is usually (not always) less than buying/selling back to Amazon.

Haven’t had any issues with differences with US editions thus far.
