Has anyone done this? I want to go ahead and enter calculus, so I want to take precalculus. Just how fast is this program, and could I be done before summer?

I’ve tried it. I do not recommend it at all. It’s self-paced, and no, I don’t think you could be done before (this? as in now?) summer. It’d probably take you a month (maybe less) if math is your strong point, but possibly at the cost of sacrificing your understanding of the material; it’s not put together well and I found the material to lack essential details (I tried to do it for Biology and English). If you decide to go through with it, I would check to see if it’s accepted in your county as a credit before buying it – it wasn’t in mine. Good luck!

yes, this summer, my apologies. And I have a semi-background in pre-calculus, but nothing extensive, but I catch on to things in math quickly.

I wouldn’t do it if the program sucks…

just get a book and listen to Khan, he’s great

that doesn’t cut it in terms of wanting to skip a class, even though I have a book and listen to him already.

^^ are u talking about that free website by imran khan… I can’t rmr it’s name for the life of me. I used it for calc, it was pretty useful. I like the ocw videos… And YouTube is always helpful.

Lol I just realized how random this is… Sorry I don’t know anything about byu!

oh so you want to actually skip out of precalc. IDK I’m kind of iffy about online courses. Try to check if you can test out of it at the beginning of the school year.
