Hello, I got a C- in Anatomy and Physiology 1 (this is not a prereq for med school) (but got an A in A&P2). I would like to retake it for med school but i don’t have time in any of my semester classes before i apply to med school.
What should i do? apply with that C- in my transcript?
One C- in non-pre-req class isn’t going to keep you of medical school.
If everything else in order for you to make a strong application, then go ahead and apply.
ETA: It appears based on your posting history that you have earned a number of C- grades in science classes, including in some pre-reqs.
What are your GPA and sGPA?
Your sGPA is calculated using only coursework in biology, chemistry, math and physics. If you’ve retaken any class you must include both the original grade and the retaken grade.
Here are a couple of GPA calculators to use to compute your GPA and sGPA:
honors.usf.edu/Documents/AMCASGPA_Calculator.xls
My sGPA is a 2.5 and my overall GPA is just above a 3.0
You should not plan on applying to medical school anytime soon.
Your GPA and especially your sGPA is going to get you autoscreened out of consideration. Applying with those numbers is a waste of time, effort and money.
Your #1 priority right now needs to be improving your GPA and sGPA.
You will need at least 2 years (or about 30-36 credits) of upper level science electives --and all As in those classes-- to demonstrate to med school admission officers that you are capable of being successful in med school.
Or graduate, work for a few years and put some distance between you and your weak undergraduate grades, then go back to school. Enroll in GPA enhancing post bacc or a SMP.

Why the heck would you make a thread about a C- in A&P when your much more serious problem is that you have a GPA that is not med school worthy???

Are you in denial? Are you not aware of the fact that your GPA is so low that you’re not close to being ready to apply to med school? Are you aware that a failed cycle is far worse than taking your time and repairing your situation?
Do you want to get into med school? Or do you just want to apply, be rejected, and move onto something else?
You wrote the following less than a year ago…

But I will try to get my GPA as high as possible, im aiming for a 3.7 by the time I graduated.

You seem to be unaware of how difficult it is to raise a low GPA into a high GPA.
