<p>I just got back my midterm grades and I have a C for a class which I usually have a B/B+ in. </p>
<p>How much do midterms count for Tufts (or are marking period grades more important?)? And how much can they hurt?</p>
<p>I don’t know about your school but at mine, on the midyear grade report, only the semester average is seen (so your two MP grades together with your midterm). For example, I did a kind of poorly on my AP calculus midterm, but because I had an A for the marking periods, it shows as a B+. Average all of the grades together </p>
<p>(MP 1 + MP 1 + MP 2 + MP 2 + Midterm) all divided by 5. That’s the letter grade that will appear.</p>
