Cal and UCLA new bioE program

<p>the bioengineering program at LA is pretty new, it only opened in 2002 i think. cal's is also fairly new. do you think within the next 3 or 4 years, the bioE programs at these schools will be as good as UCSD's?</p>

<p>you think that ucsd's bioE program is only better than LA's and Berkeley's because it has been established for a longer time?</p>

<p>this can affect which college i go to... so please help me out.</p>

<p>at least for cal, bioE is the lowest ranked engineering (many different ranking places will rank almost all engineering at cal top 5 in graduate, top 6 in undergrad except bioE)
that's why cal is now concentrating on improving its bioE program. a new building is being built for bioE and a lot of money is going there. it will be a great program in the coming years.</p>
