I was just awarded a Cal Grant B award. Currently, I'm attending a CC part time and not sure if I'll able to enroll full time anytime soon (life circumstances, and low class availability). My question is: does 2 part-time enrollment semesters count as 1 year subtracted from my remaining eligibility or 1/2 a year? As example: If it am enrolled part time for 4 years at CC before I transfer does that exhaust my award to a big 0?? I am learning I can put it on hold and wondering if after 2 years of half time it would be wise for the long run to put it on hold. (although I really need the $1550 or in my case at the moment part time ~$720 living allowance). </p>
