Have any applicants for UCs from 2012-2013 gotten back their Cal-Grant status? For my cal-grant status page, it says that I qualify for only Cal Grant A. If I use the navigation on the top and view "award status detail," all I see right now is UC Davis's Cal Grant's status.. so I'm a little worried.

Does the fact that only UC Davis is showing me its grant status mean anything about my admission? what about the other universities that i've applied to?

i don't know. i'm feeling pretty perplexed right now.

thanks if you can answer my question!

The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) doesn’t know where you’ll be admitted. All it knows is that you qualify for Cal Grant A. You presumably indicated yourself that Davis was one of the schools you’re applying to . . . so your Cal Grant status is showing an award of Cal Grant A at Davis. It could just as well indicate any one of the other schools you applied to - it means nothing.

You’ll find out where you’ve been admitted when you get the notification from the schools. You’ll select the college you want to attend, and that college will arrange for your Cal Grant to be disbursed through their financial aid office.

So, be happy you got the grant . . . and quit worrying!
