<p>I recently transferred to UCSD from a CC an in my fin aid award status it says the estimated cal grant amount. they also says that "Cal Grant awards are made by the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC). Therefore, the listing of this award does not guarantee that you will receive an award. Please promptly respond to CSAC requests for additional information to ensure you receive your Cal Grant." I logged in to my csac profile and look up any awards that has been awarded but there was nothing. I found the not awarded status for my three years at CC but noting about UCSD How do I know if they have awarded me the grant
I am just worried I would not get the cal grant. do I have to change my college in the cal grant profile.(I tried but could not do it) btw I submit my fafsa and gpa verification. Please anyone care to give some advice?</p>
<p>Sometimes the schools do it for you. I remember when I applied to CSUSM and they submitted a Cal Grant for me but I was ineligible for it. You may not have to do anything, I received mine months after I was denied.</p>
