Cal Poly Campus life/ work life?

<p>Hi there! I have been think whether or not I would like to transfer to Cal Poly SLO next fall. But I would like to know more. I will be a marketing major. I know that Cal Poly is a great school butI want to know what it’s like on campus. I’d like to have work experience while going to school at the same time. I am also thinking about San Jose State, middle of Silicon Valley, so it would be easier to get a job there, and San Diego State because I am interested in their BA emphasis in marketing and specializing in IMC degree. (I also really love sports! So I would like to go to a school that has a good sports department). </p>

<p>Can you give me your thoughts, inputs, and experience on here? Thank you! </p>

<p>I wouldn’t put too much emphasis on the location of SJSU. From my time working in Mountain View, I’ve found most tech companies are centered around Sunnyvale, Mountain View and Palo Alto. Have you been working during your time at CC? You might find yourself only having time for internships over the summer anyway. Just my thoughts.</p>
