Any Liberal Studies majors getting in? Can you post your stats and if you were ED or RD?

Daughter just got denied RD, but we were a long shot actually. 3.2, 1200SAT, 3 yrs. math, 3 years science, 2 yrs. Spanish. Minimal EC’s, but 6 years work experience in the major. Thought that would have helped, especially for this major.

I got accepted ED for journalism. ACT 28 GPA, not exactly sure since it gets recalculated so much, but between 3.5 & 4.0. 4 years math, 4 years science, 5 years language, 4 years English, 3 years social studies. Not many EC's, 1 sport, volunteering and very little work experience.

My daughter’s friend got in for English. I don’t know what her stats were, though. She had a 28 ACT. I know she was about a B+ average with maybe 4 AP classes. Some work experience not related to her major, but not too many ECs. Her grades had slipped in the last year and a half, so she was surprised she got in. I’m not sure if she would have been accepted to more selective majors.
