Cal Poly not in top 3 CSUs for business?

I’m not sure if they’re brainwashing their students over at CSU Stanislaus, but apparently they were told at their orientation today that they’re in the top 3 CSUs for business?

One other school was SDSU(which I believe) and some other school(but not CP). This is coming from the “board members of the CSU system”. Not sure if this is remotely true? I turned down a completely free ride to this school(CSU Stan) for Cal Poly.

Cal Poly SLO’s Orfalea Business College is among the top rated undergraduate business colleges in the country, based on Bloomberg Businessweek Magazine. For 2012: UC Berkeley (11); USC (33); Santa Clara University (35); University of San Diego (40); Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo (69); Chapman (87); Loyola Marymount (93); and UC Riverside (124).

I’ve seen those ratings before. It puzzles me as to why they were told they were ahead of Cal Poly (and in the top 3).

It depends on what they were using as their statistics to determine top 3. It could have been top 3 in applications, enrollment, or many other statistics that I’m not entirely sure of.

However, what I am sure of is the employment statistics that Cal Poly displays on it’s website by major, the numerous NATIONAL rankings that Orfalea is listed in, and the designation from top companies that Cal Poly has on its site.

^^Big thumbs up to that!
