You should probably post this in the chances forum with your stats to get good results.
Post your stats here (SAT OR ACT, CSU calculated GPA, APs) and we can give you a general idea. In general it is felt that OOS admission is slightly less competitive than in state, but no one but Cal Poly can actually tell you that, and they won’t. If you KNOW FOR CERTAIN that Poly is your first choice, ED will improve your chances, but it is binding.
