<p>I really want to go to Cal Poly SLO, but I'm not sure if my GPA of 3.42 is good enough to get accepted to Cal Poly SLO. I'm a transfer student from a Community College. I'm applying for a business major. What do you guys think?</p>

<p>It will give you all the info you need regarding what the 2011 student profile including transfer students look like. For business, a transfer student averages a 3.43 GPA. So, you are OK. What you need to do is call the Business Department and find out exactly what prerequisites are needed. The school is very strict with regards to that for transfer students. In fact, I’ve seen transfer students with higher GPA’s get rejected for missing classes. Find out what they want and give them exactly what they ask for and you should have a chance!</p>
