I know SLO is well regarded for their engineering program and hands-on learning approach. My D applied to SLO as a business admin major. She also applied to several UCs (adjusted her major for ones without business) and a few other out of state undergraduate business schools.
We drove through SLO this summer (great town) but have not officially toured campus. However, we don’t know much about the business program (other than info on the website) and would love more information and personal experiences within the program.
How hard is it for kids to find internships? What are the employment opportunities upon graduation? Would it be difficult to switch from admin to bus economics if she decides she’d rather go that route? She’s specifically interested in International business and would also like to study abroad to gain an international element to the major if possible.
