Cal State LA's undergrad business? or UCLA's

haha, no, I wasn't asking about that (that's never under debate), but rather the statement that a CSULA bus major brings more to the table than a UCLA kid sans network.

i think we're overestimating the importance of a business degree here over an econ degree.

if a business degree trumps the school, then i'd see most people interested in going into the business field go to berkeley, usc, and the cal states and other privates, and those who end up at stanford, ucla, and the rest of the UC's with econ degrees are basically second-tier.

i mean, there are those who get into berkeley but not into the Haas school and end up with econ degrees rather than business degrees. these people who ended up with econ degrees are basically wasting their money and energy and would've been better off going to san francisco state with a business degree?

but i guess i need some clarification. if all else equal (gpa, internship experience or the lack thereof, etc.), then in what aspects does a CSULA business major bring more to the table than a UCLA bizecon major?

good question kfc!! thatz exactly what i wanted to ask the whole time
