Marshall vs. Haas vs. UCLA Econ

I'm trying to decide between USC Marshall Business, UC Berkeley Haas for undergrad, or UCLA bus. econ.

which has better recruiting?

I think

Haas

UCLA bizecon

USC

But USC if you want to go into accounting

i want to know this too, actually.

is there a huge difference between haas & ucla bus. econ? i tried searching through the haas site for focuses for the business major but i couldn't find anything.

ucla bizecon isn't really a business degree
haas offers the only real undergrad business degree in the uc. you can't really 'concentrate' in a field of business, but they have different classes that you can take.
usc has good alumni networking, but not so good outside of socal (perhaps someone might qualify this)
cal is the best choice overall, and its econ department is better than the others so you have something nice to fall back on in case you don't make haas.

haas if you can get in..

haas > ucla > marshall

You'll have opportunities coming from any of those schools. Check out their websites. I can only comment for Marshall, which looks like they have interesting programs especially networking with alums. The same companies pretty much recruit at all three. Choose based on fit.

i got into berk and LA, and i'm trying to choose between the two. the main thing going for LA is that it's LOS ANGELES and it's far enough away from home (i live in the bay area) that i'll be able to experience something new and grow. berkeley is much too close to home and i didn't like it that much when i visited, but it's got haas.. i really wanted to move away for college though.

what about career opportunities? I'm in the same conundrum myself and have to choose between the 3.
This is what i've HEARD + my thoughts. If anyone can verify or explain...

Haas:
Heard:
50% acceptance rate into Haas.
Best undergrad business program by far on the west coast.
Really competitive.
My thoughts:
2 years of undeclared? Isn't this essentially 2 years wasted if i don't' get into haas?
Also i visted the campus and i don't' really like it or the surrounding area.

UCLA Biz Econ
Heard:
Have to apply for biz econ 3rd year.
My thoughts:
I really really like UCLA's campus and environment.
Are my career options limited by this not being a true Business major?

Marshall
Heard:
Party all the time.
Lots of hookups through alumni association.
My thoughts:
Don't really like the surrounding environment.
Don't have to worry about not getting into Biz econ or Haas.

I really would like to do consulting for a pharmaceutical company (combining Business with my interest in bio) but i wonder how much i would have to take on. But really, i just want to do more than sit at a desk at the local BoA or Wells Fargo trying to get people to borrow money.
