@SweetCaliWeather thank you so much. I just happy that this waiting part is over. For those that are still waiting, hold tight, it’s on its way…
@misstrendy thank you sooooo much. Yes this is what he wants!
hello everyone, I’m still waiting to hear from csun I am anxious to take awhile hear from their decision. Nothing is updated.
@beautymermaid25 best you can do is check your portal and check your CSUN email. When you log into the portal, click the home tab, click to get into Solar(bottom right) and then you’ll be able to see whether you have anything on your to do list and whether your major is impacted. If your major is impacted, you may have a few more weeks to wait. You can also contact admissions for a status but they’ll probably tell you what they’ve told all who are waiting. “It’s going to be a few more weeks”. If you are local definitely contact them. Locals are admitted 1st. Then Californians. Then Out of state folks like my son (also still waiting). Good luck and welcome to the thread.
Accepted to CSUN… Wanted to let you guys know that apparently someone entered my SAT scored wrong in the system and so I hadn’t been offered admission yet due to this error, however when I called today about why I haven’t heard back, they fixed it.
Accepted for Deaf Studies (non-impacted) … if you are non impacted I suggest you call to make sure everything is okay!
Hi All, I’ve been watching this thread and was very concerned after reading others describe that the tier 2 out of area eligibility requirements will increase from the norm Calif requirements to a higher eligibility index. My daughter qualifies by a thread for the Calif eligibility index, so I feared if the eligibility index increases, she will not be admitted. We almost gave up, but then after phoning their office today, they did say the eligibly index may or may not increase a bit, it won’t be too bad, and it also depends on the major and if it’s impacted. Whew… Still no response though, I didn’t ask. My daughter is 18, so they won’t speak to me and she’s in school.
Hi, I’m a tier 2 and my intended major is English. I’m worried because I haven’t heard anything from CSUN, and I’ve also been checking my portal.
I’m assuming you live in Calif? Is your GPA below 3.0? Just curious, you don’t have to respond. My daughter is, but thankfully her SAT & ACT are decent, hence making her eligible to enroll. Keep me posted if you hear anything, and I’ll do the same.
I believe my capped GPA is a 3.38 and well my SAT scores weren’t the best. I really hope I can get in…
Yes, you’ll be fine. That’s better than my daughters GPA.
They just told that there is not an exact date that all non-local-applicant decisions will be made by, and that most will be given in the next 2-3 weeks.
Can you guys say your major if you haven’t got accepted yet? Mines is kiniesiology and haven’t heard back yet
