<p>Well unfortunately my school (SMC) STILL has not posted Spring 2011 grades and I can't really send my transcript to UCB until those grades are up. I was just wondering what would happen if they receive my transcript after the July 15 deadline?</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure you’ll be rescinded if you don’t contact them.</p>
<p>contact UCB as well as the Dean to Student Services at your school, and possibly even the CCC if you must.</p>

<p>they were released late last month. how do you go to sleep knowing your grades aren’t posted 3 weeks later? i dunno…</p>
<p>DA is on the quarter system so they JUST posted grades for us and the transcript system thing is saying that it won’t begin processing transcripts until TOMORO. So, when I contacted my AO about this, she says that they give you a week past the deadline to get your stuff turned in, and after that they start putting holds on your account.</p>
<p>She suggested that I should just turn it in in person since I live only about an hour and a half away to avoid that holds crap. I’m going to DA tomoro to see if my **** is processed or not, and if not, I’m going to Berkeley on Thurs to turn it in.</p>

<p>@redo You shouldn’t worry too much about it. My admissions officer told me nothing drastic happens if Cal doesn’t receive my DA transcript by the 15th. My account will be on hold for a short while, sure, but I won’t be rescinded.</p>
<p>Really? De Anza hasn’t even started processing? They still have to send my IGETC too… I’m freaking out because I’m out of the country, and barely even have Internet connection! How did you find out De Anza will start processing tomorrow? Do we have to do anything other than request our transcripts to be sent online (I did this three weeks ago and indicated that it should be sent once spring grades are ready)? How can we know IGETC and the transcript have been sent? What did you tell your admissions officer, redo?<br>
Sorry for freaking out ;), but this is driving me insane!</p>
<p>@investment - yeah I’m not too worried about the holds either if they do end up happening. it’s looking like i won’t be able to make the trip to Berk on Thursday as of right now…soo looks like we’re all in the same boat pretty much</p>
<p>@datransfer - i read it on the myportal site when you click order transcripts. i was like trying to get a status report on it (this was like a week or so ago) and saw that date, died a little, then emailed my AO. i just told her that DA is on the quarter system and she pretty much understood. i think i also read that they start processing them in the order received, so if that’s the case i should be good because I ordered them on April 30th…LOL</p>
<p>and they messed up sending my igetc the first time (stupid lady forgot to check FULL IGETC or something) and i had to send it again. i just knew it got there when i checked myberkapp and it was checked off!</p>
<p>main point = nothing horrendous will happen to you if they’re late. KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON.</p>
<p>edit: also, maybe just a little email reminder to your AO that you are on the quarter system might be wise just in case heh</p>

<p>i got an email saying that the registrar “has completed the processing of your transcript order. The transcript(s) will be sent to the following destination(s), in the next few days:”</p>

<p>Although I cannot say specifically for Berkeley (I chose UCLA), my understanding is that the July 15th deadline is not as much an internal deadline for the admissions office as it is for the student. In other words, they tell you to submit by July 15th so that the admissions office has enough time to process the enormous amount of paperwork coming in, in time for student orientation dates.</p>
<p>UCLA told me specifically (from a number of different admissions reps) that I should not worry about the July 15th deadline, and that THEY will contact YOU if the transcripts were not received; they will not simply rescind you. They are not dumb, they understand that transcripts can get lost in the mail, delayed by schools, etc.</p>
<p>My problem is with IGETC certification… I emailed my admissions counselor about the late transcript and IGETC issue and she basically told me that 10 days after the deadline my admission is at stake if IGETC is not received. The lady I gave my IGETC request to at De Anza told me I’d get an email once it is sent, but I haven’t gotten anything yet! I don’t know what to do because I can’t go to campus and ask personally and it is almost impossible to otherwise reach De Anza Admissions and Records.
@redo: Did you get a confirmation email or a confirmation mailed to your home address?</p>
<p>I just checked myBerkeley and it says: Received - Final IGETC cert req’d and Code 3.
Received is definitely a good sign, but what does “Code 3” mean?</p>
<p>Mine says that also. I think it’s just a code for a Full IGETC certification.</p>
<p>Foothill screwed me over with my IGETC since they need my AP scores… even though it shows up on my unofficial transcript since they’re on file with De Anza. -_- so my stuff will be put on hold too until it gets in… </p>
<p>I can’t even contact that lady this week since she’s in “training” and won’t be answering emails and there’s no actual person to talk to in the counseling office.</p>

<p>I have the same problem with the IGETC certification. And the college that is suppose to send it out hasn’t yet because there is one class missing even though I have them all. They didn’t notify me until Jul 15th ;( I just emailed my AO but it’s the weekend! I hope nothing bad will happen…</p>
<p>I don’t know what happened, but the Myberkeleyapp page suddenly doesn’t show my received transcripts and IGETC information anymore. The information is simply gone. Did this happen to everyone else too?</p>
<p>@deanza, yes that happened to me as well. I can’t see any updates on my transcripts anymore. And as I saw on Friday, they haven’t received my transcript. Anyone has any clues?</p>
