Calc AB and self study in summer to Calc III?

So, I'm in calc AB right now, and I never really considered studying for the BC test. I'm going to take the AB exam, and I'm confident that I'm going to 5 that thing. In my princeton review book, it said that calc AB actually tests you over 3/4 of college calculus? If this is true, would it be easy to self study calc II over the summer, and get calc II credit through placement exams at college orientation? I'm scheduled to do orientation june 22, so I think that's when I would take placement exams. I'm a strong math student, I really like math, and it always came pretty easy for me. Should I try to test out? btw, I'm going to be a CS and math double major.

I know a girl who did exactly that–she took the AB exam her junior year, then self-studied calc II over the summer, and took calc III as a senior. However, she’s going to take the Calc BC exam this year, anyway, just to cover all her bases and ensure that she gets credit for all her work.
