is there any books that are good for calc bc like details on topics? thanks

Princeton Review is good. Barron's is good if you want harder problems.

what is a good one for calc ab. One that can help with class and tests, as well as the ap exam.

Princeton Review and Barron's are good for both. For class and tests, um, I don't really know what your teacher gives but if you know the methods, you should be able to do most problems. If you want to challenge yourself a bit, look for old exams on university pages.

Princeton Review for both Ab and BC

does the edition matter? I have a 2003 pr review one, would it be outdated?

I dunno prolly not. I mean the test has not changed much cept almost always there is a directional field q from 2003 and onwards (cept last years ap cal exam had none). The material should be same.
