Calc II, Physics I, and Chem I in one semester?

I'm currently a senior in high school and I take college courses at Georgia State. I plan to major in Civil or Architectural Engineering when I graduate and I wanted to get my freshmen courses done before I graduate. I am currently taking Calc I and I also took AP calc my junior year. I am picking classes for next semester and I was wondering if taking Calc II, Physics I, and Chem I in one semester is a do-able schedule? Or should I just take Calc II and either Physics I or Chem I? I know taking all three will probably be a lot of work but if it is do-able I am willing to try.

Don’t take all three. Physics are chem are ok, but calc is difficult. You’re going to be an engineering major. You need to master all three of those subjects. Don’t try ‘saving time’ by squeezing them into one semester. I’m assuming you’re trying to go to tech. If so, you need calc based physics. PHYS1111 will not transfer. CHEM1211K is the chem you need.

I recommend taking Dr. Thota, Dr. Barrow, Dr. Harden, or Dr. Pascoe for chem.

If you’re going to take physics anyway, take Evans.

AVOID Myers for calc.

GPA is the most important thing. Especially at tech…keep a 4.0 if you’re doing duel enrollment.

I would just take English, econ, government, and a language. Get rid of the core classes.
