How is this done exactly? The school I have in mind to transfer to (Georgia Tech) goes by the A B C D F scale but the school I go to now (University of FL) includes B+ and C+ which are worth 3.5 and 2.5, respectively. I'm a first year college student and I admit I took on more of a courseload than I should have (18 credits of pure math/science) and now I think I'm going to pay for it by not being admitted to the school I really want to go to. Anyway my GPA at UF is around a 3.6 which according to Georgia Tech's website is enough to get admitted (the bold stuff applies to me I'm an EE major) http://www.transfer.gatech.edu/ HOWEVER, that 3.6 consists of more than half B+ grades. Is Georgia Tech going to rescale my GPA to their standards before admitting me? I am thinking this is true and it will keep me from having the competetive GPA of 3.5 for admission. Also, if I attended another institution before going to the one I go to currently for dual enrollment, will they factor in the 2 A's I got at that school? Thanks

I should also probably note I was admitted before to the school as a first-time freshman applicant but I'm not sure if my decision not to attend the school due to financial reasons might have some outcome on my acceptance as well.
