Calculus 408D

The book for M408D is CALCULUS (CUSTOM) 6TH 2007.

For my class, it didn't say what professor is going to teach me. I heard

So should i buy it now or until college starts?

P.s.the book on co-op is 180 dollars, yuck.

People have been saying that some calculus classes doesn’t even require a textbook and that all information is from the professor’s notes. So I would wait until the first week and find out then. But if you’re like me and feels uncomfortable relying on class notes alone, I would buy the book. People have also been saying that custom doesn’t really matter.

Always wait until the first day of that class, since the professor will outline exactly which books are actually necessary, which are optional, and which you can just ignore. There’s no benefit in buying them now anyway, unless you wanted to get started reading them early or something.

There maybe another advantage of getting cheaper books if I buy them early

There is a solution manual for odd number problems that is an optional book. I would not buy that one. You can see all the odd numbered problems worked out on [Cramster Homework Help and Online Study Community?Free Homework Help](http://www.cramster.com) so there is no need for that book. The odds are available for free. If you want/need the even problems, there is a fee though.

180 is A LOT. mine was 113 from the co-op last year. Same brand, custom too.

Weird.

I wouldn’t buy it yet. Though I am kinda a hypocrite since I’m buying all my books now. xD
