<p>my question is does med schools look more favorably on students who had taken higher level courses? I got a 5 on the BC exam and was wondering if med school would rather admit a student who has gotten a B or B+ in calc III or one who has an A in Calc II? Thanks in advance!</p>
<p>Taking Calc 3 and getting a B isn’t going to impress adcoms, but it won’t put you out of consideration either. (Unless you have a bunch of other Bs to go along with in and your GPA is suboptimal…)</p>
<p>(OTOH, taking Calc 2 and getting a B or lower when you have a 5 in AP Calc BC isn’t going to put you in a favorable light.)</p>
