Calculus vs Physics

I am taking Classical Physics I at a local community college and I really enjoyed our first day of class. We have about 20 students in my class where at Iowa State, an average Classical Physics I class would have 100-150 people.

Obviously, there is no grading on a curve, it is an 8 week course but I was looking at the syllabus and the grading seems easier than the same course taken at Iowa State.

I felt like getting an A or B is doable as long as I maintain the same level of interest and work hard for the next 8 weeks- it seems like it might be a "watered down" version but I don't care, as long as I get a good grade and my credits transfer.

Has anybody here enjoyed their Physics classes way more than Calculus?

“Has anybody here enjoyed their Physics classes way more than Calculus?”

Yup, I feel like my physics classes (calc based) helped make sense of a lot of the calc topics that I didn’t understand. I went back and forth like a 100 times between whether I wanted to major in engineering or physics because I liked those classes so much, but I decided to stick with engineering and take some upper lvl physics for my technical electives. Plus a lot of engineering classes I’ve taken so far are really just a very in depth look at a lot of the topics learnt in physics I-III.

When I learned calculus 1 nad 2 I always enjoyed the most its applications in physics.
