Summer class at Stonybrook: Calculus I, Calculus II, Classical Physics 1

Hi all,

I am taking summer classes at stonybrook(calc I, calc II, classical physics 1) so I can transfer the credit back to my regular college at UT Austin. (I am an NY resident, OOS student at UT Austin) I must have a B in the class in order to transfer the credit back.

FYI, I took ab calc my senior year, but with senioritis, college applications, and lack of motivation, I scored a 2 on the exam. I have only taken regular physics in high school.

Based on this, will the stonybrook classes be too difficult for me? Please give me honest answers and opinions.

Thanks

If you keep up and do the work, I see no reason why you can’t get at least Bs in those classes.

I hope so. Aren’t both of them big lecture classes? I am afraid the professors will grade on a sharp bell curve system. My professor for calc I is Claudio Meneses Torres, and physics I is Adnan Iqbal

My answer was based on general knowledge of the subjects and the fact that you are motivated to do well.

bump. more feedbacks, please!
