Calgrant College of attendance: School not found?

My FAFSA and GPA have been submitted, but it states that my college of attendance is not found, in addition when i check my Award Detail, it says: No records match search condition. Have I done something wrong?

you say “it states” what is “it”?

@Brownparent On the CSAC website under “View my Application Status” there is a line that states:

College of Attendance: School Not Found

Application Status: Application has been processed.

CSAC ID:

I do not have a CSAC ID either.

However, the same page states that my GPA and Fafsa have been received.

when you submitted your fafsa, did you list a UC as the first college in your list? If not,
you should go in and update your fafsa and resubmit it. This is a new requirement for Calif and
will make sure your app is processed for cal grants, blue & gold, and the ca middle class scholarship. If you did
that already, then you probably need to give them a call and see what is going on.

http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/paying-for-uc/files/fafsa-tips.pdf says to list a four year school in California first on the FAFSA. Was the first school on your FAFSA such a school?

@ucbalumnus Yes, the first school on my first FAFSA was UC Berkeley

@karnier - you said ‘my first FAFSA was UC Berkeley’ - did you perhaps submit that FAFSA, then
change the school name and resubmit another FAFSA? If so, maybe the CalGrant program didn’t
pick up the first one. (I believe you are updating the FAFSA database, which colleges and presumably
the CalGrant program log in to periodically and download information. For example, Maybe CalGrant downloads
information every Saturday and you submitted your first FAFSA on Monday, then updated it to
a new college on Friday so CalGrant wouldn’t have seen the UC from the first one). Anyway… if I
were you, I would log in to FAFSA - make sure it says a UC and submit again. Don’t change it until
you see it show up on the CalGrant website. If a week goes by and its not there, I would call them. If none
of this scenario applies to you, then definitely call them right away.
