caliber of GWU's science program?

I visited GWU recently. I liked the school a lot and really loved the DC area, but I was surprised that science and engineering was barely mentioned at all during the admissions presentation. I know the school is known for its humanities/business/politics programs, but I was under the impression that it's sciences were solid as well. Seeing that I'd like to major in the biological sciences with a premed track, obviously this is pretty important. Can anyone attest to GWUs science programs or lack thereof?

I’m pretty sure (though I may be wrong, as I’m not a science or engineering major) that they are revamping their science and engineering program. This includes redoing the engineering building, adding new labs, etc. I’m pretty sure they’ve also recruited a bunch of top-notch professors for this coming year as well.

It’s certainly not solid right now; the labs are literally falling apart. But Sarah is right, they’re building a new STEM building and trying to attract better profs. Give it a few more years.
