how are my chances for like UCs and claremotns?

im going to retake it. I am confident i can get at least 1800. I got 1800-2000 on all practice tests at elite and pric review and 184 on psat. iono, maybe sat day was just a bad day...

Ok. Let's say you score a 1900 on the SAT when you retake it. The Claremonts will still be all reaches, but you can also try for UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, and perhaps UC Davis.

No no no. lol my gpa for first semester this year( junior) weighted was liek 3.8. im only takin 1 honors this year. i think i bombed my second semester finals. so i have like 2 A and 3 Bs......

yeah i am. but my college counciler said if i do well on SAT and get good grades. i should apply to ALL UC. Rice. CMC. Pitzer. Carnigie mellon. USC. NYU. Occidental. etcc....?

Scripps would be more of a reach - SATs are way too low, GPA is pretty low as well. But I'm making the assumption that you are male, so it's moot anyway.

I agree w/ flopsy and Calcruzer. Are you in Troy Tech (the magnet school) or regular Troy (not magnet school)? Academic rep may help a bit but lack of many APs/honors classes and very bad CR score on the SAT will hurt you a lot.

Troy's not a prep school, it's a public school...Troy Tech is the program within Troy Public High that is the science magnet school, where I think you have to apply/test in...I don't go there, but know a fair amount of people who went and even know this. Are you sure you go here?

Predicting SAT scores is not reliable. Many people at my school (not as good as Troy) take 5-6 APs senior year. How many did you take before? The real question is how much you challenged yourself with the options you were given.
