To apply for transfer from De Anza, do I only need 45 quarter units to be eligible to apply to transfer? I have a few courses I took from my 4 year University that I am transferring over to my community college as well, and after this spring and summer Quarter I’ll have about 48-50 quarter units.
Asking to apply to SJSU.
90 quarter units overall or 60 semester units to transfer. SJSU accepts Junior level transfers.
Thats not my question. I asked how many credits do you need to “apply” for transfer… you are telling me i need two years worth of credits to apply? Wouldnt that take three years to get into a 4 year then?
There is no minimum # of credits to apply, but you a need a minimum # of credits by the end of Spring 2019 to transfer for Fall 2019 which is 90 quarter units or 60 semester units. You can apply this Fall 2018 for next Fall as long as you have all the major required courses and GE’s completed by Spring 2019.

You can apply, but they have admission requirements. 60-semester units/ 90 quarter units by the end of your spring semester. So you apply in the fall while you are taking classes and your transcript will show the classes you plan on taking in the spring that will put you at 60 units. If you take 15 units a semester then it will take 2 years.
