Oh gosh, I need help. I'm currently a senior in Northern California and am stressing out (as all seniors are, I'm sure) on where to go. This past summer I attended CSSSA (california state summer school of the arts) in Valencia, CA for creative writing. I'm extremely interested in screenwriting and film and theater and directing...there are so many fields I would like to enter but the problem is, I don't know where to go. I want to get a BA in one of those or something involving them. Where I come from, no one knows much about any of my listed interests because I'm in a very small town two hours below the Oregon border. It's...basically the middle of nowhere.

Anyways, I'm generally a B average student and have taken all the AP classes my school of 200+ students offers. My older sister is a junior at Cal Poly right now and she got the McConell scholarship but my single mom on a jr. high teacher's salary is still paying a lot for it. So of course I'm also looking at the financial situations.

It sort of sounds like I'm telling some sob story but I really just want to get some facts out so I can get some help. I want to do the early application process done which ends the last day of November so I'm just nervous. So if anyone has any college suggestions and information about the surrounding cities, that'd be wonderful! Thank you.
