California Residence??

Hey i am currently a 16 year old high school junior in florida
if when i graduate i would be 17 because my birthday in in the summer
i would be 18 by the rdd...
my parents will starting at may 2011.
if my parents put the house in california as their primary address, and they claim me as a dependent.., can they get residency? also, since they have california as their primary address, can they be in florida to aid me and support me until we all move together?

Generally, to be eligible for a resident classification, an
adult (independent) student must have established and maintained permanent residence in California at least one year
prior to the residence determination date. Minors (dependent students) derive residency status from their parents.

i am wondering if a i am a minor? i would be 18 by rdd but i would be 17 when i move to california

can my parents be residents of california if they rent a house in california while living in florida and supporting me, but putting their tax return address as california?

thanks very much

please let me know

thank you so much
