california safeties?

<p>so i've already applied to several UCs (top choices being ucla and ucsb) and i plan on applying to occidental. but as of yet i have yet to find any real safety schools that i would seriously consider attending. uci and ucr are technically my safeties but i don't like either of them at all. does anyone have any good suggestions for safety schools? i'd like to stay in california, or at least around the west coast, but i'm open to any ideas. i'm a california resident, my gpa is about 3.6, and i have a decent amount of ECs. thanks!</p>
