California UC's - SLP

Hello! So I am applying to the CSUs for either a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders or in Speech Language Pathology. Now I am choosing majors from the UC Campuses, and they don’t have either of the majors I mentioned before. What major should I then apply for if I still wanted that solid foundation for when I want to apply for a masters degree in Speech Language Pathology? Thank you!

Most UC SLP students major in Linguistics or English.

Speech Pathology is a part of Occupational Therapy.

Like med school applicants, to enter the Occupational Therapy field you need to fulfil OT pre-requisites as the followings:

You can take any major in your UG for your master application as long as you completed the pre-requisites.

A list of schools offer OT from US News is here:

Nope^. I disagree.
I’m a speech path: we were never in an OT TRACK…
My colleagues, who did their undergrad at UCs, majored in linguistics and English, then transferred to the CSUs for grad school.
Our major was called communicative disorders/ communication sciences, with a concentration in speech pathology, audiology or deaf and hard of hearing Services.
@thumper1, what say you?
