Calling Admissions Office to check status

<p>My parents keep bugging me to call the admissions office today to check on whether all my stuff has been received, but I know that the SATs and Transcripts were only mailed this weekend, so theres no way they are there already. </p>

<p>Would it seem like overkill if I called today to see if my teacher recs are in and them call friday to see if everything else is in?</p>

<p>Should I even be calling the office about this?</p>

<p>If you do call, you will receive the following response: “if anything is missing once the application files are all compiled, we will contact you directly and you will be afforded time to get everything in.” This is the standard response.</p>
